Nasupa Tanka Lodge #171 was chartered in 1939 in the Black Hills Area Council located in Rapid City, South Dakota. In 1955, Nasupa Tanka Lodge #171 rechartered after previously disbanding, changing its name to Crazy Horse Lodge #171. The Nasupa Tanka Lodge totem was a Broad Axe

Crazy Horse Lodge was chartered in 1939 in the Black Hills Area Council (#695) located in Rapid City, South Dakota.

In 1955, Crazy Horse Lodge rechartered after previously disbanding, changing its name from Nasupa Tanka.




In 1982, Crazy Horse Lodge changed the name from Crazy Horse to Tashunka Witco Lodge.




In 1984, Tashunka Lodge changed the spelling of its name from Tashunka Witco Lodge to Tasunka Witco Lodge.




In 1988, Crazy Horse Lodge changed its name from Tasunka Witco.
