Mascoutens Lodge #8 Merger History
Mascoutens Lodge #8 was chartered in 1972 in the Southeast Wisconsin Council (#634) located in Racine, Wisconsin. Mascoutens Lodge formed in 1972 from the merger of Oh-da-ko-ta Lodge #153 and Chippecotton Lodge #524. The Mascoutens Lodge totem is the beaver.
Oh-da-ko-ta Lodge #153 was chartered in 1939 in the Kenosha County Council located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The Oh-da-ko-ta Lodge totem was an acorn and their publication was the Oak Leaf.
Chippecotton Lodge #524 was chartered in 1957 in the Racine County Council located in Racine, Wisconsin. The Chippecotton Lodge totem was a stone ax head and their publication was the Chipmunk.
