Acahela Lodge #223 (second lodge of this name) was chartered in 1969 in the Penn Mountains Council located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. In 1985, Acahela Lodge changed the name to Acahela Lodge from Gischigin Lodge. The Acahela lodge totem was a black bear.




Gischigin Lodge #223 was chartered in 1969 in the Penn Mountains Council located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. It was formed in the merger of the original Acahela Lodge #223 and Quekolis Lodge #316. In 1985, Gischigin Lodge changed its name to Acahela Lodge #223. The Gischigin Lodge totem was a Rattlesnake.




The original Acahela Lodge #223 was chartered in 1942 in the Wyoming Valley Council located in Kingston, Pennsylvania. The Acahela Lodge totem was a black bear.
