Merger History
Ho-De-No-Sau-Nee Lodge #159 was chartered in 1967 in the Greater Niagara Frontier Council located in Cheektowaga, New York. In 1966, Ho-De-No-Sau-Nee Lodge #159 was formed from the merger of Ganosote Lodge #159 and Tuscarora Lodge #284. The Ho-De-No-Sau-Nee Lodge totem is the Longhouse.
Tuscarora Lodge #284 was chartered in 1945 in the Niagara Frontier Council located in Niagara Falls, New York. The Tuscarora Lodge totem was a powderhorn and tomahawk and shirt.
Ganosote Lodge #159 was chartered in 1939 in the Buffalo Area Council located in Buffalo, New York. In 1966, Ganosote #159 merged with Tuscarora #284 to form Ho-De-No-Sau-Nee Lodge #159. The Ganosote Lodge totem was Chieftain head and longhouse.
