Camp Russell
Pocket Patch
General Herkimer Council
Camp Russell pocket patch. Camp Russell is located on White Lake in the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York. It was originally a camp of the General Herkimer Council, Utica, NY.
General Herkimer Council no longer exists. It merged with Land of the Oneidas Council in January of 2002 to form the Revolutionary Trails Council, also located in Utica, NY.
Previously, the Revolutionary Trails Council formed from the merger of the Upper Mohawk Council (Utica, NY) and the Iroquois Council (Rome, NY). The Iroquois Council was formed in 1968 with the merger of the Madison County Council (Oneida, NY) and the Fort Stanwix Council (Rome, NY).
