in 1991 in the Trails West Council (#112) located in Wood River, Illinois.
Kishkakon Lodge was formed in 1991 from merger of Blackhawk Lodge #94 and
Cahokia lodge #126. The Kishkakon Lodge totem is the Eagle. Kishkakon means,
"They who make trails (Lenape)."
Blackhawk Lodge #94 was chartered in 1936 in the Piasa Bird
Council located in Wood River, Illinois. The Totem was Chief Blackhawk with
arrow across profile.
Cahokia Lodge #126 was chartered in 1938 in the Cahokia
Mound Council located in Granite City, Illinois. The Cahokia Lodge totem was a
Chieftain's head.
